Underwater Pelletized Product Particles
The underwater granulation system is generally composed of a start-up valve, a mold head, a granulation machine head, a water circulation system and pipe fittings, a dehydration and drying system, a vibration filtration system, and a control system. Underwater granulation technology belongs to a type of "die surface hot cutting". When a uniform high-temperature molten material enters the mold head flow channel from the end of upstream equipment (reaction kettle, screw extruder, mixing equipment, etc.), the material is cut into droplets by the high-speed rotating cutter blade just as it leaves the mold hole and enters the processing water. Due to the physical characteristics of maximizing the specific surface area of particles and the temperature difference between the melted droplet polymer and the processing water, Droplets solidify and form particles close to the sphere. This granulation method of "hot cutting before water cooling" determines its ability to handle granulation operations of materials with poor melting strength, high viscosity, and high thermal sensitivity.
Applicable raw materials:
Almost all polymers can process particles of different sizes, suitable for materials such as PE, PP, PS, TR, TPE, TPR, TPV, PET, PVC, EVA, ABS, calcium masterbatch, calcium masterbatch, carbon black masterbatch, etc.
Particle mass advantage:
1. Optimize particle shape to ensure smooth and uniform particle surface;
2. High particle density and good fluidity;
3. Eliminate the oxidation of particles;
4. Fewer adhesive phenomena;
5. Production and operational advantages:
1) Fully automatic continuous production; One click startup, convenient and fast.
2) Shorten curing time, reduce footprint and cooling water demand; Energy conservation and environmental protection.
3) Fully enclosed production with clean environment;
4) Low noise and no dust pollution.
